MARCH OF THE ANTS: MORE THAN A MASHUP?
March of the Ants from Weird City Games combines many mechanisms you'll find in other board games. The question is whether it works.
This is my first real video (you don't want to see the ones I did before), and I have a soft spot for it.
I actually saw March of the Ants at GameStorm, a convention in Vancouver, Wash., my first (and so far only) convention.
I didn't get a chance to play, but my husband was dying for the game. So I was very grateful when Weird City Games graciously accepted my request for a review copy.
I also got to play Lanterns: The Harvest Festival at that convention. That video is still in the works.
